's given us healthcare reform. it gave us the failed stimulus. the only shovel ready project really funded in a large sort of way was adding additional trillion dollars debt on our middle class. it also gave us not necessarily an energy policy but an environmental policy. you don't have to look very far down the veto to see the closing plant. it will cost us 35 jobs. it's going to cost the city of billings over $10 million a year in income in the surrounding area. that's entire city of billings. that's the kind of economics we've gotten from the failed policy of president obama and from the failed policy of senator tester. >> congressman rehberg didn't answer the question why we should vote for him. the fact of the matter is, we had a broken healthcare system and making sure people with people with preexisting condition have coverage. we have to hold insurance companies accountable. as far as the stimulus package goes, the shiloh road congressman provides avenue to get to one of your developments. the fact is that the work that was done, is critically important we're going to move forward

there that are indicating that things might be as bad as forecast. a couple of the medical device makers in the healthcare sector, taking huge hits today. angiodynamics, down about 12% right now. it earned 5 cents in the same quarter last year. although its revenues were up and it made a big acquisition, but guys if i put the year to date chart, this is a stock that's down 26% so far this year. so it obviously showing it struggles with the -- its struggles with the slowing economy. another medical device maker, edward life sciences, its stock is up about 23% so far this year. it is taking a huge hit in today's session, down about 18% right now. it said that its third quarter sales are going to be weak. their heart valve sales in particular they said have been hurt by european us-- european austerity measures. they also said slower than expected growth in the united states hurt earnings there as well. coming up after the bell, alcoa and yum! brands, we will have a preview, same time next hour. connell dagen back to you. connell: keep it here on markets now talking about small business with big problems. da

of healthcare reform did away with insurance company's ability to deny coverage for people with pre- existing conditions. part of the trade-off was requiring people to have coverage for individual mandates. good would you say we are keeping pre-existing conditions coverage, and if so, how would you pay for it? >> i support repealing the health care act. what i hear from the state of nebraska is they supported it as well. did we do not like the individual mandate. we do not like the government coming between a doctor and a patient. pre-existing conditions, that is important we are able to address that. what i will tell you is we will not pay for it by spilling over 7000 billion dollars from medicare. that was the trade-off on the health-care aren't now. that was the deal made. that is not sound policy. everybody knows it is not sound policy. we can look for savings with tort reform. medical procedures that are required are often unnecessary. that is one way we can look at it. >> i signed a bill, and it had no impact of all. this is a decrease in payment to insurance companies and hospitals. th
